GENERAL CONTRACTING CONDITIONS AND USE OF LOCKERS – EASY LOCKERS IBIZA

PURPOSE

These General Terms and Conditions regulate the access, contracting and use of the locker rental service offered under the commercial name Easy Lockers Ibiza through the website www.easylockersibiza.com.

These Terms govern the contractual relationship between the service provider and the User, who expressly accepts them at the time of booking.

THE SERVICE

The service consists of the temporary rental of automated lockers. This service does not constitute a deposit, custody or safekeeping contract under Spanish law.

Types of lockers

  • Small (M): 30 cm high × 45 cm wide × 85 cm deep. Capacity: approx. 1 cabin suitcase + 1 backpack.
  • Medium (XL): 90 cm high × 45 cm wide × 85 cm deep. Capacity: approx. 3 cabin suitcases + 2 backpacks.

Permitted contents

Within the limits set out in these Terms (see User Obligations & Limits of Use), Users may store luggage/personal belongings inside the hired lockers.

Availability & duration

Availability can be checked on the website. The same locker may be hired from a minimum of 3 hours up to a maximum of 60 calendar days.

Access hours & multiple access

Lockers are accessible every day during the official opening hours of the premises. Users may access their hired locker as many times as needed during the rental period, strictly within opening hours.

Prices

Prices (VAT included) are shown during the booking process and refer to the locker size and rental period selected. Promotional discounts may apply as displayed on the website.

Operation

Lockers are fully automated. After completing the online booking, the User receives confirmation with the locker number(s) and access code(s). Access to the hired locker is granted via the provided security code.

Modifications & cancellations

Reservations may be modified or cancelled at least 24 hours before the scheduled start time.

ACCESS AND RESERVATION

To hire an Easy Lockers Ibiza locker, the User must:

  • Be at least 16 years old.
  • Provide truthful and accurate data (name, phone, email, check-in/check-out dates, required locker size, and payment details).
  • Accept these Terms & Conditions and the Privacy Policy.
  • The User declares to have legal capacity to enter into this contract.
  • The User is responsible for the accuracy of the data provided.

After completing the contracting process, the User receives confirmation by email/SMS with the assigned locker number(s), reservation dates and access code(s).

PERSONAL DATA & VIDEO SURVEILLANCE

The premises are equipped with video surveillance cameras to ensure security and correct use of the service. Signage is displayed in accordance with applicable data protection regulations. Recordings may be used as evidence in case of improper use, damages, incidents or breaches of these Terms.

Easy Lockers Ibiza complies with Regulation (EU) 2016/679 (GDPR) and Spanish Organic Law 3/2018 (LOPDGDD). For detailed rights (access, rectification, erasure, opposition, limitation, portability) please contact info@easylockersibiza.com. You may also lodge a complaint with the Spanish Data Protection Agency (AEPD). Recordings may be retained and disclosed to competent authorities when legally required.

USER OBLIGATIONS & LIMITS OF USE

  • Use lockers solely to temporarily store personal belongings.
  • Close the locker properly before leaving the premises.
  • Not store illegal, hazardous or perishable items.
  • Not share access codes with third parties (the User is fully responsible).
  • Not use lockers as goods drop/collection points between parties.
  • Access the premises solely to use the hired locker; do not remain longer than strictly necessary. No eating/drinking inside.
  • Remove all belongings before the end of the hire period.
  • Report incidents to info@easylockersibiza.com.
  • Not take photos/videos inside the premises, especially of security systems.
  • Not store money, jewellery, or high-value electronic items (User is solely responsible if stored).
  • The User assumes full responsibility for the contents stored inside the locker.
  • The User declares that all stored items comply with applicable laws and regulations.

CONSEQUENCES & USER LIABILITY IN CASE OF BREACH

Easy Lockers Ibiza reserves the right to access lockers in cases of suspected breach, security risk, or legal obligation,without prior notice, when reasonably justified.

Non-compliance with rental period

  1. If the User does not empty the locker by the end of the reservation, Easy Lockers Ibiza may open it and remove belongings.
  2. Luggage will be temporarily stored and User contacted; after 15 days it will be considered abandoned and disposed of.
  3. Daily charge: equal to locker price per day + €150 fixed penalty.
  4. Delivery service: €25/item within Spain, €50/item abroad (payable in advance). Liability transfers to the carrier at handover.

Improper use & prohibited items

  • Prohibited items may be removed and authorities notified.
  • Penalty: €150 per incident (without prejudice to higher damages).

Damage to lockers

User must compensate Easy Lockers Ibiza for physical damage and lost earnings. Replacement cost is fixed at €1,000 plus daily penalty for unusable time.

Improper use of premises & extraordinary cleaning

The User must respect the premises and keep them clean. Belongings must always be stored inside lockers. Items left outside (wet clothes, garments hung in common areas, underwear on the floor) are considered abandoned and removed immediately.

  • Extraordinary cleaning surcharge: €50 per incident.
  • Surcharge applies for rubbish, staining, soiling, or scattered garments.
  • Easy Lockers Ibiza reserves the right to claim higher damages if proven.

Payment of penalties

All penalties and surcharges will be charged automatically via the User’s original payment method, or by bank transfer if requested. By hiring the service, the User expressly authorises such charges.

EASY LOCKERS IBIZA’S OBLIGATIONS

Easy Lockers Ibiza undertakes to keep the service active, to make lockers available in good working condition, and to resolve incidents as quickly as possible.

LIMITATION OF LIABILITY

The service provided is strictly a rental of space. Easy Lockers Ibiza does not assume any obligation of custody, surveillance or control over the items stored.

The User expressly agrees that all items are stored at their own risk.

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Easy Lockers Ibiza shall not be liable for:

  • Loss, theft or damage of stored items
  • Force majeure events
  • Improper use of lockers
  • Technical failures beyond reasonable control

Force Majeure

Easy Lockers Ibiza shall not be held liable for failure to perform obligations due to events beyond its control, including but not limited to natural disasters, floods, fires, power outages or acts of authorities.

APPLICABLE LAW & JURISDICTION

These Terms are governed by Spanish law. Disputes shall be submitted to the competent courts in accordance with applicable consumer protection regulations.
